Anyone who lives near Hemmen knows about the ‘groentemeiden’ of Biologische Tuinderij de Stroom. Vegetables for no fewer than 250 households are grown on 3 hectares. Most of the products find their way to the consumer in the form of vegetable subscription packages, the Hemmense vegetable bag. Subscribers receive a bag full of freshly harvested vegetables every week.
