Pluktuin De Bosrand
Pluktuin De Bosrand is a gem on the Wageningse Eng. Come pick flowers, fresh tea herbs and small fruit yourself and enjoy the surroundings as you go. In the summer, even just taking a look is already a big source of joy with all the colors. De Bosrand also makes jams and juices, which you can of course taste in the tea garden.
Who we are
At Pluktuin de Bosrand (self-harvest garden the Forest edge) you can harvest your own fruit or fresh tea herbs and make your own flower bouquets. You can enjoy the view over the Wageningse Eng in the tea garden while enjoying a homemade fruit juice or a cup of freshly picked herbal tea.
What we produce
Depending on the season, you can harvest small fruit, including various types of berries, strawberries, rhubarb and grapes. You can also pick various cut flowers, edible flowers and tea herbs, including 20 varieties of mint. You can order bouquets, jams and gift vouchers all year round via the webshop. You can also harvest vegetables from Pluktuin de Basis.
How sustainable we are
We cultivate in a sustainable way with respect for people, animals and the environment, without using chemical pesticides or fertilizers. We reuse materials, and use only organic-certified inputs. In this way, we contribute to having a rich biodiversity and healthy soil.
Where can you find the products?
The products of Pluktuin de Bosrand can be harvested on site and can be bought every now and then in the StreekWaar webshop.
Workshops & garden parties
During the season, various workshops are held at de Bosrand. You can come to us for: a flower arranging workshop, how to make a hand-tied bouquet, make jam, make smoothies, learn everything about edible flowers or make a delicious herbal tea. Picking flowers and fruit can also be combined with a picnic or a garden party package.
